               Stator :

              Shape : 

              A stationary, typically elastomeric, component with an internal cavity that matches the shape of the rotor. 
              Function :

              Provides the required sealing to direct the fluid flow and, along with the rotor, forms the cavities that transport the fluid. 
              Material:

              Commonly made of rubber or other elastomers for flexibility and to facilitate the creation of complex internal shapes.
